Desk Dispatch
I’ve been designing things for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I’d sit in a corner of the library while my mom finished work (she was a librarian), armed with scissors, glue, and a stack of old magazines. By the time she was ready to go, I’d have a new “publication” laid out. It could be a magazine or a book cover, my fantasy of what design work would be.
Fast forward through design school to my first grown-up job at Nestlé. I learned how all the moving parts—design, marketing, sales, R&D—come together to shape a brand. I even spent a year as a digital marketing manager, to better understand how to manage a brand online.
My style is influenced by the seasons, inspired by the changing light, colors, and moods of nature. I have a soft spot for quirky holidays like Pi Day, Flag Day, or Talk Like a Pirate Day. My guiding philosophy is simple: design helps people connect with the world and each other.
